they didn't have our drinks.

Permanency

I’ve lived my life in pencil 
to watch my past fade in time.
 Plus, I could always just erase stuff,


And write over again between the lines. 
These faded sentences I’m watching, though, 
Are just being re-written.


I can’t regret my past, ya know? I don’t forget what I’ve lived…. So


I see the positives….
And, 
I’m now tracing led with ink and pen.

I’m left alone with a blinking cursor;

my best friend and companion,
The only thing still referencing her.

So tell me what the meaning is

when you read my lips and you just feel it, here I am. Do something with it. 

And I’m staring at yours just wishing

we could go forever just push and take,

too far, too little to tease a bit

just down the middle

you know this shit

I’m turned on a little,

You were in my proximity,
